About This Community
Karuna Animal Welfare Association of Karnataka, formerly Bangalore SPCA, is one of the oldest animal welfare organizations in Bengaluru, founded in 1888. It operates animal shelters, organizes veterinary care, pet adoptions, and outreach. The community supports abandoned, stray, and injured animals by providing food, medical care, shelter, and adoption services. It’s aimed at animal lovers, students, and volunteers seeking to make a difference in animal welfare.
